Dr. Asa T. Briggs, DNP is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 12 years of experience treating adults from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of mental health related illnesses.
Dr. Briggs earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Clemson University. He received a Master’s in Human Development and Psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master’s in Nursing – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Vanderbilt University and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Yale University.
At Briggs Psychiatry & Behavioral Health, PC, our treatment is patient-centered, culturally safe, and evidence-based. Dr. Briggs specializes in Medication Management, supportive therapy, depression and anxiety treatment. Dr. Briggs is currently taking in-person and teleheatlth patients ages 18-65.
